Using the imo search feature, you can search for
messages, photos, videos, links, GIFs, audio,
and documents within your conversations.
Search conversations using keywords
The conversation search feature allows you to
search by keywords.
1. Click on "Search" or magnifying glass icon.
2. Enter the word or phrase you want to find in
the search bar.
3. Clicking on the search result will open the
message within the conversation.
Filter media using search criteria
You can also use the search feature's filter
criteria to search for media within
conversations, such as photos, videos, links,
GIFs, audio, and documents.
1. Click on "Search" or magnifying glass icon.
2. Enter the word or phrase you want to find
in the search bar.
3. Select the type of media you want to search
for.
4. Clicking on the search result will open the
message within the conversation.
Filter media by content type
You can view all photos, videos, links, GIFs,
audio, and documents.
1. Click on "Search" or magnifying glass icon.
2. Click on Photos, Videos, Links, GIFs, Audio,
or Documents to view that category of media.
Search individual or group conversations
1. Open a personal or group conversation.
2. Click on More Options > Search.
3. Enter keywords in the search bar.
4. Click the magnifying glass icon to search.
Search groups
You can find the groups you belong to in the
conversation tab. You can also search for
groups by title or content.
- If you can't find a group, be sure to check
the archived section in the conversation tab.
- If you don't see the group you're looking for
in the conversation tab, you may not be a
member.
- If you want to join a group, you must ask the
group administrator to add you or send you
an invitation link.
- You cannot separate group conversations
from personal conversations in the conversation
tab.
- You can pin groups for easy access. For

Please note:
If you recently restored imo conversation
records, it may take several days to recreate
the search database, depending on the size of
the conversation records. During this time, do
not force close imo.
