1. Open the imo app on your device.
2. Select the chat conversation you want to check the message status for.
3. In the chat window, you will see the messages you have sent and received.
4. Sent messages:
Sent messages will have a single tick "√" next to them.
This indicates that the message has not reached yet (network problem) or you are blocked by the contact.
5. Delivered messages:
Once the recipient has received the message on their device, you will see two tick "√√" next to the message.
This indicates that the message has been successfully delivered to the recipient's device.
6. Read messages:
If the recipient has opened and read the message, you will see a round circle "o" next to the message.
This indicates that the message has been read by the recipient.
7. If you see a clock icon next to a message, it means that the message is still being sent or is in the process of being delivered.
This usually happens when there is a poor internet connection or the recipient's device is offline.
8. If you see a red exclamation mark "! " next to a message, it means that the message was not sent successfully.
This can happen if there is a network issue or if the recipient's device is not connected to the internet.
9. Additionally, imo also provides a "Last Seen time" status for each contact.
This indicates the last time the contact was active on imo.

2. When he/she sets Read Receipts ( in profile page - Settings - Privacy ) as "Nobody", it will not show round circle "o" even if your messages are read by him/her.
