Mina is known for its iconic Jamarat or Jamrah Pillars, which are pelted at the Jamarat Bridge. These three pillars are situated in Mina Valley and are now part of the Jamarat Bridge, a significant achievement by the Kingdom’s Government to manage crowds and ensure safety during the ritual. On the Day of Nahr, only the largest Jamrah is targeted with seven pebbles, while during the days of Tashreeq, each Jamrah is pelted with seven pebbles, starting from the Smallest Jamrah, then the Middle Jamrah, and finally the Biggest Jamrah. Pilgrims have the flexibility to throw pebbles from any level of the Jamarat Bridge, but it is crucial for them to adhere to the Tafweej schedule and movement directions set by the organizers to uphold the safety and security of others. The Jamarat Bridge is a pioneering project that represents a significant leap in civilization and engineering to serve pilgrims. The Jamarat Facility comprises four floors and a ground floor, spanning 80 meters wide with 12 entrances and exits in four directions to alleviate overcrowding. Additionally, the Bridge is connected to the pilgrim camps, further enhancing the convenience for the pilgrims.
