To change your mobile phone number on imo, follow these steps:
1. Open the imo app on your mobile device.
2. Tap your avatar in the top left corner of the screen to open the profile page.
3. From the profile page, select "Settings."
4. In the settings menu, tap on "Accounts & Security."
5. Under the Account settings, tap on "Change Phone Number."
6. You will see your current phone number listed. Tap on it.
7. A new screen will appear with the option to "Change phone number." Tap on it.
8. Enter your new phone number in the provided field.
9. Tap on "Next" to proceed.
10. You will receive a verification code on your new phone number. Enter the code in the app to verify your new number.
11. Once the verification is successful, your new phone number will be updated on imo.
Note:
1. Avoid symbol, space or extra '0' between country code and phone number.
2. Changing number in imo will remove the data of the new inactive number.
If the new number is active recently, the system will prompt you to delete the new number before changing number.
3. If you want to log out from your current account, please choose "log out" in [Accounts & Security].
4. If we detected an unusual login attempt to your account that seemed suspicious. To secure your account, "Change Phone Number" will be suspended for 7 days.
5. If you can't log in with old phone number, it's not able to change phone number in this way.
You are suggested to register another new account.
