The Prophet's Mosque exclusively provides Zamzam water for drinking. This water is transported from packaging stations in Makkah to the Prophet's Mosque, ensuring the highest standards of safety and purity.
Within the Prophet's Mosque, Zamzam water is available in 8,000 water containers distributed throughout the mosque's roof and courtyards. Additionally, there are over 1,200 drinking fountains located in the mosque and its attached facilities. During the Hajj and 'Umrah seasons, cold water containers are also made available.
The Zamzam Water Distribution Center in the Prophet's Mosque distributes over 30,000 bottles of Zamzam water daily. Furthermore, the center has introduced the Zamzam Sabeel, which not only provides Zamzam water to individuals but also supplies other mosques with this sacred water. The Sabeel is situated in the southwestern courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque.
