Visitors to the Grand Mosque must be mindful of prohibited items to ensure a serene and safe environment. The mosque forbids the entry of most foods and beverages; however, exceptions are made for coffee, dates, and water, acknowledging their traditional significance. Sharp objects that could potentially cause harm are not allowed within the sacred precincts. Similarly, flammable liquids, which pose a risk of fire, are strictly prohibited. To avoid congestion and maintain the sanctity of the space, large bags and luggage, as well as baby strollers, are not permitted inside. Pilgrims are advised against leaving their personal items unattended at the entrance. Instead, they are encouraged to use the secure storage facilities provided in the outer courtyards of the Haram. These measures are in place to facilitate a peaceful and orderly experience for all worshippers.
