Upon completing the Tawaf, or circumambulation, within the Grand Mosque, visitors will find clear signage directing them to Al Masaa, the starting point of the Sa'i ritual at Safaa. To facilitate a smoother experience and reduce congestion, it is recommended that pilgrims opt for the upper levels of Al Masaa for this devotional act.

During Sa'i, it is incumbent upon the faithful to engage in continuous dhikr, or remembrance of Allah, supplication, and recitation of the Quran. It is crucial to avoid stopping for prayer in areas that may impede the flow of movement or contribute to overcrowding. Furthermore, adhering to the guidance of security and regulatory staff within the Haram is essential for maintaining order.

For men, the practice of hastening one's pace is prescribed only between the two green markers and should not be extended throughout the entire Sa'i. In the event that the call for prayer, or iqamah, is announced, those in the midst of Sa'i should join the congregational prayer and afterwards, resume their Sa'i from the point they paused.

Diabetic individuals should ensure they have taken necessary medications and consumed adequate food before commencing Sa'i. It is important to protect one's feet and to rest if symptoms of low blood sugar arise. Wheelchairs are available for those who are unwell or fatigued.

Lastly, it is imperative to respect the sanctity of the space by refraining from cutting hair within the Sa'i area. Numerous barbershops are conveniently located in the vicinity of the Sanctuary for this purpose.
