Embarking on a spiritual journey, pilgrims from across the globe converge on the holiest of lands. The Hajj and Umrah, profound acts of worship, begin at Miqats—sacred boundaries set by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Whether traversed by land or air, these gateways mark the point where the faithful enrobe the Ihram, purifying their intentions. As they step across these thresholds, they enter a state of sanctity, ready to perform rites dating back centuries, their hearts resonating with the purity of the earth beneath their feet.

Steps to follow:

(1) In the sacred act of Ihram, men don simple white garments, while women wear customary attire, both eschewing scents. This ritual cleansing and dressing mark a state of purity, signifying equality and humility before embarking on the spiritual journey of Hajj.

(2) Embracing sacred rituals, pilgrims chant the Talbiyah with devotion, "Labbayka Allahuma Umrah," their voices are a testament to their spiritual journey, affirming their presence before Allah to perform Umrah.

(3) The Talbiyah, echoing the words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is a declaration of devotion recited by pilgrims on their sacred journey. "Labbayka Allahuma labbayk,Labbayka la sharika laka labbayk.Inna al-hamd wa'l-ni mata laka wa'l-mulk, la sharika lak," they chant, affirming Allah's singularity and sovereignty. This chant resounds until they stand before the Kaaba, hearts brimming with faith.

(4) In Ihram, Muslims must abstain from sex, marriage, hunting, and grooming activities like shaving or nail-cutting. Perfumes are forbidden. Men cannot cover their heads or wear stitched garments, while women must not don niqab or gloves. These rules uphold spiritual purity.

(5) While in Ihram, pilgrims may bathe, don spectacles, adorn themselves with rings and watches, tend to injuries, strap on belts or purses, wear slippers, and even hold umbrellas for shade.

(6) In Ihram, pilgrims embody purity, casting aside conflict and embracing benevolence. They aid the people in need and heed the guidance of authorities, fostering a harmonious journey.
