Normally, you may tap the "Tap to load history" 

 

icon for 90 days chat history. 

 

 

When you delete chats, contacts, delete 

 

account or uninstall imo, chats history will be

 

cleared and can not be retrieved.

 

 

If you saved the photo/video/file/song before, 

 

you may try to find them in the internal storage

 

of your smartphone

 

- (DCIM) 

 

- imo / imo beta file folder. 

 

 

If you can't find it, you may contact customer

 

service of your mobile supplier to check the 

 

default media saving path. 

 

 

We suggest you backup important chats and 

 

files from time to time, and please think it twice

 

before deletion, in case of losing important 

 

messages.

 

 

Note: 

 

Update version directly won't lose chats, but

 

uninstall imo and install will remove chats.
